Dr. Åsta Haukås works at the Department of Foreign Languages at the University of Bergen and is an expert in multilingualism. Her research interests include pre- and in-service teachers’ attitudes towards multilingualism and plurilingual pedagogies. She has also been instrumental in work on developing the Norwegian language curriculum which includes global citizenship, to be implemented in August 2020. Her knowledge and experience of combining GCE and plurilingual pedagogies have been critical for the project.
