Dr. Joana Duarte’s research focuses on language education in multilingual environments, with a focus on promoting multilingualism in regional and migrant languages in primary and secondary education. Dr. Duarte has been appointed professor by special appointment of Global Citizenship and Bilingual Education, and therefore represents an indispensable associated partner in the GCMC project.
