Katharina (MA) studied German and English in the teacher training programme at the University of Graz, Austria. Since then, she has been teaching those subjects in a Middle School. After one and a half year of teaching practice, she enrolled for a PhD at the Doctoral School for Educational Research and Methodology of the University Graz and looks into Language Integrated Global Skills teaching in the EFL classroom. Her interests lie in the integration of global skills alongside traditional subject teaching and the psychology of language learning and teaching.
